Progressions Using Diminished 7th Voice Leading Chords
While there are a number of ways to work diminished chords into a progression, one great way is to add it to the end of a progression, leading back to the top.
Below, we look at 3 different progressions, showcasing 3 different voicings for a Diminished 7th chord. Play each progression as a loop (meaning, when you get to the end, go back to the beginning again).

Eastman T59/V

The Eastman T59/V is a classic-style semi-hollow electric guitar that blends vintage looks with modern craftsmanship. Inspired by iconic 1960s designs, it features a 16" thinline body made from flamed maple laminate with a solid center block. This design gives the guitar a warm, open sound while helping reduce feedback at higher volumes. The antique varnish finish and tasteful binding give it a worn-in, old-school vibe that feels right at home on any stage.
The neck is made from maple and paired with a smooth ebony fingerboard, offering a comfortable feel that works well for chords, lead lines, and everything in between. With a 24.75" scale length, 12" fingerboard radius, and medium-jumbo frets, the T59/V feels familiar and easy to play for most guitarists. Gotoh relic-style hardware adds to the vintage look while providing solid tuning stability and reliability.
For tone, the T59/V is loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers. These pickups deliver a wide range of sounds, from warm, smooth jazz tones to punchy blues and classic rock grit. The simple control layout β two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a three-way switch β makes it easy to dial in great sounds quickly without getting in the way of playing.
Overall, the Eastman T59/V is known for offering high-end feel and sound at a more accessible price point. Itβs a versatile guitar that works equally well for clean and overdriven tones, making it a strong choice for gigging musicians, studio players, or anyone looking for a well-built semi-hollow with timeless style.
