# F Minor Guitar Practice

Let's practice over a jam track in the key of F minor. 

The Fm7, Gm7, & Ab chords are all in the key of Eb major, so the *F Dorian mode* would work well for soling over this. 

The C7#9 at the end of the phrase is a bit of an outlier. The C chord in the key of Eb is typically a minor chord, but playing it as a Dominant chord adds some flare here - and just sounds cool. Since the #9 note is Eb, F Dorian still works to play over this chord.
